Abstract

Overseas Chinese businessmen refer to overseas business enterprises who have Chinese background and at the same time master individual business enterprises. As immigrants and immigrant descendants, Chinese businessmen in the mainstream society in the gap to seek development space, the traditional Chinese social organization and function in the exotic specific social and cultural environment have been extended and developed. At the same time, overseas Chinese businessmen have a broad industry edge, not only being involved in finance, commerce and manufacturing, but also being active in the gaming, entertainment and other emerging markets. They occupy a pivotal position in the world economy, and even some overseas Chinese businessmen and Arabs and Jews and known as the world's three groups of immigrants financial strength.

This booksystematically show us a huge picture of the development process of overseas Chinese businessmen, from the origin of Chinese businessmen, development, maturity into the integration of China's economic development. It is divided into two chapters, each chapter is divided into two to five sections. The first chapter introduces the origin of Chinese business groups, the formation of history, distribution and its political, economic, science, education, and culture. Chapter 2 introduces the overseas Chinese businessmen of the three groups:Fujian businessmen, Guangdong businessmen, Zhejiang compatriots and the distribution of the industry. Chapter 5 shows the social status of overseas Chinese in the strategic background of“One Belt and One Road”, and their value in the building of“One Belt and One Road”, and endows a new concept to the new overseas Chinese and future Chinese develop-ment. Chapter 6 gives a comprehensive highlight of the overseas Chinese business-men to lead China“going out”, overseas Chinese businessmen and China exchan-ging with each other, and the achievements; Chapter 7 to create“the world Chi-nese businessmen”, build“Chinese dream”, overseas Chinese businessmen is al-ready important for China's economic development Components，“Chinese dream”to build and“world Chinese businessmen”complement each other, insepara-ble. The scope of the study includes what people often refer to the“overseas Chinese business”and the mainland founded or engaged in“foreign-funded enterprises”operating in Hong Kong, Macao and overseas, collecting data of overseas Chinese ranging from the Northern Song Dynasty to modern times, involving a wide range of clear logic, with a certain depth and breadth. It is a encyclopedia of“Overseas Chinese business world”.
