ABSTRACT

After the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China（CPC）, promoting culture and technology integrative development（CTID）and cultivating new type of business of culture industries has become an important policy approach to drive China's cultural prosperity and development.

First, the study introduced the definition of CTID industries based on the literature analysis of culture, creative and copyright industries at home and abroad. It pointed out that CTID industries could be divided into three parts including the updating of traditional culture industries, the expanding of high-tech industries, and the new type of business of culture industries.

Second, the study researched on CTID industries in Haidian district of Beijing and concluded that the national standard classification on culture industries was not able to fit CTID industries very well. Haidian's CTID industries could be classified for several new tiers like digital TV and filming, digital library and museum, smart tourism, new media, comics and games, creative design and so on.

Last, the study analyzed Haidian's CTID industries through indices of creative intensity, R&D input intensity and cultural development intensity and put forward the policy suggestion.
