Eulogy of Pangu for His Creation

Having hack’d apart Earth and sky,

Pangu starts to make slopes and streams.

He makes land where men can reside,

And creates seas where water teems.

Having hack’d apart Earth and sky,

Plains and heights Pangu does sort out.

Then he starts to blaze roads and trails,

On which people can move about.

Having hack’d apart Earth and sky,

Pangu makes th’ Sun and th’ Minor Light.

It is owing to th’ great Pangu

That men have a world nice and bright!
