5.2 Arrangement for Reactors
5.2.1 The clearance between the reactor and its furnace providing reaction heat shall not be less than 4.5m.
5.2.2 Reactors may be located in open air,half-open air or buildings as required by process.
5.2.3 Grouped reactors should have their centerlines aligned,and arranged in row.
5.2.4 Arrangement for reactors shall comply with the following requirements:
1 In addition to mobile hoist is used for catalyst loading,platforms and permanent hoisting facilities shall be also provided above the reactors installed in structures for catalyst loading and maintenance;
2 Hoisting facilities shall be provided for the reactors installed in building,and hoisting hole shall be provided on the floor,and near to the building gate and access;
3 Areas and accesses shall be provided on one side of the reactors for catalyst handling;
4 For the reactors with internal agitators or conveying machinery,spaces and areas shall be provided on the top or on the side of the reactors for erection and maintenance of agitators or conveying machinery.
5.2.5 Elevation of reactors shall comply with the following requirements:
1 In case catalyst unloading nozzle is located at bottom of the reactor,the elevation of reactor shall allow for access of transportation vehicles into the space beneath the reactor,and the overhead clearance should not be less than 3m;
2 In case catalyst unloading nozzle extends beyond the reactor skirt and catalyst is allowed for local unloading,the overhead clearance of catalyst unloading nozzle should not be less than 1.2m;
3 In case spent catalyst chunks are required for treatment,catalyst unloading nozzle shall be located at proper elevation to allow for spent catalyst crushing,screening and handling.
5.2.6 High pressure and super high pressure equipment should be arranged at one end or on one side of the plant,and super high pressure reactors with explosion hazard should be located in anti-explosion structures.
