8.3　Boiler Barrel

8.3.1　The supports shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1　The longitudinal and horizontal center lines shall be adjusted，and the measurement by plumb wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm.

2　The levelness shall be adjusted，and the measurement by leveler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 1.0/1000.

3　The elevation shall be adjusted，and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of±3.0mm.

8.3.2　The boiler barrel shall be evenly and tightly contacted with the support，and the support at the sliding end shall be reserved with shifting amount for thermal expansion as required in the design，and the sliding shall be checked and unobstructed.

8.3.3　During the installation，the longitudinal and horizontal center lines of boiler shall be adjusted，and the measurement by plumb wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 5.0mm.The elevation shall be adjusted，and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of±5.0mm.The longitudinal levelness shall be adjusted，and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm for the overall length.

8.3.4　The inside of boiler barrel shall be checked to ensure that it is equipped with all specified devices and cleaned to be free of sundries.

8.3.5　Install the manhole，apply the flange gasket and the thread of connecting bolts with the lubricant such as black lead powder，and ensure that the bolts be symmetrically and evenly tightened and tightly sealed with any leakage.
