This code is developed by WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited assisted by other relevant organizations according to the requirements of Document JIANBIAO［2008］No.105 issued by The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development（MOHURD）-Notice on Printing and Distributing"the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2008"（the second lot）.

This code is finalized based on the draft for examination developed by the development team through conducting wide investigation and research，earnestly summarizing the practical experiences and acquiring diversified comments with reference to the related advanced standards home and abroad.

This code consists of 14 chapters，of which the technical part covers general provisions，terms and abbreviation，basic requirement，process and equipment，general layout，power supply and distribution facilities，electrical drive and electrical engineering，measurement instruments，automation system，telecommunication facilities，auxiliary facilities，building and structure，energy conservation and environmental protection，safety and fire prevention.
