4.3　Preparation of Fluxes and Fuels

4.3.1　The solid fuel crushing and screening facilities should be set up in the sintering plant，while the lime stone and dolomite product should be purchased.

4.3.2　The closed-circuit crushing and screening flow shall be adopted if it is necessary to crush lime stone and dolomite in the sintering plant.

4.3.3　For the final products of lime stone and dolomite，the proportion of particles with size smaller than 3mm shall be more than 90%，and the proportion of particles with size bigger than 5mm shall be less than 5%.

4.3.4　When the particle size of coke breeze is 0-25mm，the two-stage open circuit crushing flow shall be adopted.When the particle size of coke breeze is less than 10mm，the moisture content is less than 10%and the proportion of particles with size smaller than 3mm is more than 30%，the prescreening and one stage open circuit crushing flow can be adopted.When the proportion of particles with size greater than 25mm is more than 10%，the oversized coke may be screened out by prescreening，and then the two-stage open circuit crushing flow may be adopted.

4.3.5　Two-stage open circuit flow shall be adopted for anthracite crushing according to the conditions of particle size and moisture，etc..When proportion of particles with size smaller than 3mm is more than 30%and the moisture content is less than 10%，the prescreening can be added before the first stage crushing.

4.3.6　When adopting iron ore concentrate fines，the proportion of processed coke breeze and anthracite with final particle size smaller than 3mm shall be more than 85% and 75% respectively.When adopting the imported iron ore concentrate fines，the proportion of coke breeze and anthracite with final particle size smaller than 3mm should be more than 75% and 65% respectively.

4.3.7　The solid fuels which differ in variety and physicochemical properties shall be crushed separately.

4.3.8　The crushing equipment which easily causes over-crushing shall be avoided for crushing solid fuels.

4.3.9　The iron-removal device shall be installed before crushing of lime stone，dolomite and solid fuels.
