5.6 Sinter Cake Cooling
5.6.1 Off-strand cooling should be adopted for sinter cooling.For limonite or siderite,on-strand cooling may also be accepted.
5.6.2 Forced-air circular cooler should be adopted for large-scale and medium-scale sinter machines.When it is difficult to arrange a forced-air circular cooler,the straight line forced-air cooler may also be considered.
5.6.3 The air leakage rate of the circular cooler should be less than 10%.
5.6.4 Size grading and segregated distributing technology should be adopted for the cooler,and the feeding depth of the forced air circular cooler should be 1400 mm-1500mm.
5.6.5 When the forced air cooling mode is adopted,the ratio of cooling area to sintering area should be 0.9-1.2.When the on-strand cooling mode is adopted,the ratio of cooling area to sintering area should be 0.9-1.0.
5.6.6 The cooling air volume of the updraft cooler should be selected at 2200-2500m3 per ton of sinter,and the cooling time should be 60min.
5.6.7 The average temperature of sinter unloaded from the cooler shall be less than 150℃.
5.6.8 The hot waste gas of the cooler shall be utilized,and the hot waste gas utilization rate should be more than 40%.
