3　Basic Requirements

3.1　Dividing of Construction Quality Acceptance

3.1.1　Construction quality acceptance of insulation may be divided by inspection lot，item work and/or sectional work.

3.1.2　Inspection lot should be divided by system or zone based on the features of insulation project，requirements for construction and quality control and requirements for construction quality acceptance.Inspection lot for equipment should be divided by single piece of equipment，and inspection lot for piping should be divided based on the same fluid service and the same pressure rating.

3.1.3　Item work may comprise one or several inspection lots.A single piece（set）of equipment for the same fluid services should be divided into one item work，and piping for the same fluid service should be divided into one item work.

3.1.4　When insulation work needs to be divided into sectional works，each sectional work may comprise one or several item works.
