Foreword

According to the requirement of Document Jian Biao［2002］No.85 issued by Ministry of Construction（MOC）—Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2001-2002，this code is revised on the basis of GB 50170-92 Electric Equipment Installation Engineering　Code for Construction and Acceptance of Rotating Electrical Machines by Beijing Electric Power Construction Research Institute and relevant organizations.

This code comprises four chapters with the main contents as follows:general provisions，steam turbine generator and synchronous var compensator，electric motor，transfer and acceptance.

The provisions printed in bold type are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly.
