Mean absolute error

Mean absolute error (MAE) is the mean of the absolute values of the error. It can be represented with the following formula:

                              

MAE provides an average error between two vectors. In our case, MAE is the difference between the actual value of  and the predicted value . MAE is used by a lot of researchers since it gives a clear interpretation of the errors in the model's prediction.
