Using dcpromo.exe

Perform the following steps:

  1. Promote the Windows Server installation, as you would normally.
  2. When using an answer file, add the following line:
ReplicationSourcePath= "C:\Install"
  1. When using unattended mode, add the following argument:
/ReplicationSourcePath:"C:\Install"
