The converters

By conversion, we are referring to the transformation of some parameters of an electrical signal, while keeping the quantity of information from the signal the same. Converters are essential in control systems because they are present in any data acquisition and processing chain. Remember that an analogical signal can assume all of the values within a range, while a digital signal can assume only a finite number of values.
