Activating Windows Server 2016

To activate your Windows Server 2016 (Desktop Experience), as in Figure 3.29, complete the following steps:

1. In the Properties section, click the highlighted Not activated setting of Product ID:

1. In the Enter a product key window, enter your Windows Server 2016 product key and press Enter.
2. Microsoft's Activation Server checks the product key you entered. If it is valid, click Next in the Activate Windows window.
3. When activation finishes, click Close to close the Thank you for activating the window.
