1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This code is developed to implement relevant national policies in the design，construction and quality inspection of anti-seepage in petrochemical engineering，to protect the groundwater environment，to standardize technical requirements，and to achieve safety and applicability，advanced technology and cost-effectiveness.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to the design，construction and quality inspection of anti-seepage for the petrochemical and coal chemical engineering，but it is not applicable to the storage，disposal and landfill of normal industrial solid wastes and hazardous wastes，and installation of long-distance pipelines.

1.0.3　In addition to the requirements stipulated in this code，design，construction and quality inspection of anti-seepage in petrochemical engineerings shall also comply with those stipulated in the current relevant standards of the nation.
