Notes on Revision

The Acceptance Specifications for WCDMA Digital Cellular Mobile Communication System Engineering YD 5173-2015 has been developed by revising the Provisional Acceptance Specifications for 2GHz WCDMA Digital Cellular Mobile Communication System YD/T 5173-2009 according to the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People s Republic of China.

This code specifies WCDMA network construction standards on equipment room conditions，relevant outdoor facilities，indoor equipment，acceptance codes，etc.The Provisional Acceptance Specifications for 2GHz WCDMA Digital Cellular Mobile Communication Systemic mainly revised as follows.

1.The code is renamed as"Acceptance Specifications for WCDMA Digital Cellular Mobile Communication System Engineering YD 5173-2015".

2.Compulsory provisions are streamlined by deleting and adding some compulsory provisions.The article numbers of the compulsory provisions are listed in the foreword，and the provisions are explained in details in the Explanation of Provisions.

3.The structures and contents of<Pre-acceptance inspection>are adjusted.

4.Some revisions and supplements are made on the testing items in accordance with new technology developments.

5.Some unnecessary contents are deleted.
