woodlands divine raised until

drooping blessed whose seek

upward hovels inner steal

heaven hearts lilies die roaming

"If I were a sunbeam,

“如果我是阳光,

I know what I'd do;

我知道自己要做什么;

I would seek white lilies,

我要漫游林地,

Roaming woodlands through.

寻找白色的百合。

I would steal among them,

我要在它们中间徘徊,

Softest light I'd shed,

散发最柔软的光芒,

Until every lily

直到每朵百合

Raised its drooping head.

抬起它们低垂的脑袋。

"If I were a sunbeam,

“如果我是阳光,

I know where I'd go;

Into lowly hovels,
