Section one: History

抚顺西露天矿位于抚顺煤田西部、浑河南岸、千台山北麓，开采于1901年，1914年转为露天开采，是国内露天开采史最长的国有大型露天煤矿。新中国成立以来，抚顺西露天矿累计产煤2.8亿吨、油母页岩5.3亿吨，为国家经济发展和建设做出了重大贡献。

Located in the West of Fushun coalfield，the South bank of Hun River and the North foot of Qiantai Mountain，West Open-pit Mine was the state-owned open-pit coal mine with the longest mining time in China.It was started in 1901 and switched to open-pit mining in 1914.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China，West Open-pit Mine had produced a total of 280 million tons of coal and 530 million tons of oil shale，making a significant contribution to the national economic development and construction.

矿坑，大型挖掘机2台、电力机车4辆、推土犁1台、108吨采矿汽车1辆、蒸汽机车2辆。

叁：遗产活化

Section three: Revitalization

抚顺西露天矿矿坑面貌壮观，技术保存完整，目前已全面实施矿坑生态恢复综合治理工作。在原址上兴建6 000多平方米的抚顺煤矿博物馆，以真切、翔实的编撰方略和展陈体例对抚顺煤矿的历史加以梳理呈现。党员教育基地更直观、艺术地展现了百年矿山的发展。文化长廊、红色记忆和百年露天小火车等板块，弘扬了百年企业文化、红色文化等特色文化。

West Open-pit Mine has a spectacular appearance and a complete technical preservation.At present，comprehensive work of mine ecological restoration has been carried out.It is planned to build the Fushun Coal Mine Museum of more than 6 000 square meters on the original site，which will present the history of Fushun coal mine with accurate compilation strategy and detailed exhibitions.The party member education base actively shows the development of mine in the past century.The Cultural Corridor，the Red Memory，the Hundred-year Open-air Train and other sections carry forward the century-old enterprise culture and the red culture.
