首都医科大学附属北京妇产医院妇科内分泌科创始人,科主任,卵巢组织冻存库负责人,国际生殖力保护中心负责人,主任医师,教授,博士生导师,首都医科大学妇产科学系副主任,德国图宾根大学客座教授。国务院特殊津贴专家,科学中国人(2019年度),北京市科技新星,北京市“215”高层次卫生技术人才队伍建设工程妇科内分泌学科带头人。2005~2006年赴美国哥伦比亚大学做访问学者及博士后,2010年、2012年和2014年先后3次到德国图宾根大学做访问学者,同时到德国波恩大学、科隆大学和海德堡大学访问交流。2016年9月9日带领团队成功进行中国首例冻存卵巢组织移植,填补中国此领域空白(BTV、CCTV等主流媒体均有报道),人民日报主管的健康时报及生命时报均报道:阮祥燕,中国冻存卵巢第一人。2014年作为中国内地第一人入选国际妇科内分泌学会执行委员会委员,2018年被选连任,2018年6月成为首位入选国际绝经学会执行委员会委员的中国人,并入选担任国际妇科内分泌学会中国妇科内分泌学分会主席、德-中妇产科学会(中方)副主席,国际妇科内分泌学会官方期刊Gynecological Endocrinology副主编及其中文版主编。2016年4月在Thomas Roemer教授及Alfred O. Mueck教授的帮助下在妇科内分泌领域创建中国首个“门诊微型宫腔镜诊治中心”,为异常子宫出血、不孕不育等患者提供了快捷简便、经济科学的诊断方法,使相关疾病得到精准诊断与治疗。

发表论文、论著近300篇,其中SCI论文60余篇,牵头制订中国首个卵巢组织冻存移植专家共识及指南。先后与2位中国政府友谊奖获得者—(德)阿尔弗雷德·缪克(Alfred O. Mueck)、(德)托马斯·拉贝(Thomas Rabe)合著论著5部:《妇科内分泌学热点聚焦》《更年期相关症状及疾病防治理论与实践》《生殖内分泌学热点聚焦》《妇科内分泌病例评析》《生殖内分泌学临床实践》;科普书1部:《女人要懂内分泌—妇科内分泌经典问答200问》。

From 2005 to 2006, she went to Columbia University as a visiting scholar and postdoctoral fellow.In 2010, 2012 and 2014, she went to the University of Tubingen in Germany as a visiting scholar three times.She also visited the University of Bonn, the University of Cologne and the University of Heidelberg. On September 9, 2016, Prof Ruan led the team to successfully carry out the first frozen ovarian tissue transplantation in China to fill the gap in this field in China(BTV, CCTV and other mainstream media have reported), the People’s Daily’s Health Times and Life Times reported: Ruan Xiangyan,China’s first person to cryopreserve ovarian tissue. In 2014, she was elected as the Executive Committee of the International Gynecology and Endocrinology Society as the first member of the Chinese Mainland. She was re-elected in 2018. In June 2018, she became the first Chinese to be elected to the Executive Committee of the International Menopause Society. She was elected as the president of Chinese Society of Gynecological Endocrinology affiliated to the International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology. Vice President of the German-Chinese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology(Chinese), Associate Editor of the Official Journal of International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology,“Gynecological Endocrinology” and editor-in-chief of the Chinese version. In April 2016, with the help of Prof.Thomas Roemer and Prof. Alfred O. Mueck, Chinese first ‘Outpatient Mini-Hysteroscopy Diagnosis and Treatment Center’ was established in the field of gynecological endocrinology, providing quick, easy, economic and scientific diagnosis and treatment for patients with abnormal uterine bleeding and infertility. It enables accurate diagnosis and treatment of related diseases.

Published nearly 300 articles, in which more than 60 SCI papers, led the formulation of Chinese first ovarian tissue cryopreservation expert consensus and guidelines. She has co-authored with two Chinese government friendship award winners - Alfred O.Mueck and Thomas Rabe.
