范例
I would like to describe an occasion when I was waiting for the HR supervisor for the interview for my first job last year.I made an appointment with the recruiting staff and arrived fifteen minutes early,in the hope of leaving them a good impression.
I first filled out the personal information form and then I was told to wait a few minutes for my turn.I noticed that there were approximately twenty people in the waiting room waiting as well.I didn´t give it any thought at that moment. But twenty minutes later,I did not get any information from anyone about the interview.Though I am not a fan of the extended waiting time, all I can do was sitting in the chair and wait.Twenty more minutes later, the staff came in and told us that something urgent came up and sorry to let us wait for another half an hour patiently.Candidates started leaving until there were about 8 persons left.I told myself no to be too anxious,so I took out my smartphone and started to surf the internet and thought maybe I could dig more information about the company, which might facilitate my interview. The thirty minutes felt like five minutes when I looked up to see that we were being called one by one to the conference room.
Twenty more minutes later,it was my turn and it was a super great interview.I believed that I performed as well as I expected and I had the offer in the final round.Every time when I think back,it hits me that even if we don´t enjoy all the waiting, but to a certain degree, the wait can be a somewhat helpful way to test our patience and tolerance for other things and oer people. And if yu cannot tke rol of the siuaion, maybe yu c change the way how you look at it or even how you can make the best use out of it.
