Question 21   B

考生应该注意到男生的提问：What do you think，Trudie？结合题目中说到的the main topic of Trudie and Stewart´s paper，我们应知道两个人都认可的主题才是正确答案。女生说道：Maybe we should concentrate on this country（专注于这个国家，因此排除A选项中的different countries），and try and relate the changes in libraries to external developments，like the fact that far more people can read than a century ago，and that the local population may speak lots of different languages.前半句提到的relate the changes in libraries to external development（联系图书馆跟外界发展中发生的改变）对应B选项。其实后半句的the fact说的就是选项B中的changes的具体例子。Trudie说so it´s probably best if we don´t go into funding in any detail，由此可以排除C选项中的funding。

Question 22   C

Question 23   C

题目中expect跟future都是指示将来会发生什么事情。答案句What I´m afraid will happen is that books and magazines will all disappear...（将来发生的事是：书跟杂志会消失），同义替换C选项中的no longer contain any books。

Question 24   budget

题目中信息量比较小，但是X of Y这种格式的出现说明原文中很有可能出现YX这种语序调换的同义替换。当考生听到录音中男生说 ...For instance，应意识到例子中可能会有答案。男生说we could interview some of the staff，and find out whether the library has its own budget，这里its own budget 等于budget of its own，所以确定答案为budget。

Question 25   employment

题目中又出现X of Y格式（laws regarding all aspects of...）。答案句是Then there are things like how the library is affected by employment laws，这里的employment 在law前面作定语，相当于laws regarding...employment，所以确定答案为employment。

Question 26   safety

考生应该注意到design跟customers这两个词出自 Then there are other issues relating to the design of the building and how customers use it，这句话之后接着举例子Like what measures does the library take to ensure their safety，此处ensure 跟take into account为同义替换，所以safety是正确答案。

Question 27   insurance

当考生听到“oh，and another thing”就应该意识到已经进入27题。答案句为there´s the question of the kind of insurance the library needs to have...，require 跟need是雅思听力考试中常见的同义替换词。所以insurance是正确答案。

Question 28   diary

当看到题目中出现famous，马上要反应出原文很有可能会出现well-known。另外一个语序调换的套路就是所有格形式，本题中a famous person´s...其实就等于...of a famous person。答案句为：Well，next to it they´ve got the diary of a well-known politician from the late 19th century.diary of a well-known politician同义替换diary of a famous person，这说明diary就是正确答案。

Question 29   database

题目中再次出现X of Y的格式，所以考生必须在原文中定位local organisations。这次原文继续用了语序调换：you know people might ask in the library about local organisations，like sports clubs? Well，I wonder if they keep a database，or whether they just book online.显然sports clubs只是local organisations的一个例子，所以不是正确答案。正确答案是之后出现的database，注意if与whether 同义替换。

Question 30   museum

在29题后，男士说I quite fancy finding out what the differences are between a library that´s open to the public and one that´s part of a museum，for example，题目中的different在录音中以differences的方式提及，而且题目中的in a 跟原文的part of同义替换，因此museum正是30题的答案。
