5.2　Equipment and Elements

5.2.1　The equipment，steel structure works and standard elements shall be inspected according to the agreements in the design document，relevant technical standards and contract，shall have an inspection record that shall be signed by a special person.Those equipments and elements which are not inspected or unqualified upon inspection shall not be installed.

5.2.2　During mobilization of the process steel structure parts，the element number and quantity shall be checked；moreover，the overall dimensions and the surface quality shall be checked and shall also meet the requirements of the design document at the same time.The surfaces shall have no damage，corrosion and deformation，shall be coated by a film evenly，shall have consistent color and no missing of coating.

5.2.3　The process steel structure parts shall be piled on such underlay as solid and flat places or supports.There shall be anti-deformation measures for stockpile and transportation of thin and long elements.

5.2.4　After the mobilization of the equipment，the owner，the project supervisor，the manufacturer and the construction contractor shall participate in the open-box inspection and make corresponding records.The open-box inspection shall be in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The box number shall be checked according to the packing list and the packing situations shall be checked.Moreover，the packing situations shall meet the requirements of the design document or the contract.

2　The name，specification，model and quantity of the equipment shall be checked and shall meet the requirements of the design document or the contract appendixes.

3　The equipment shall have no defect parts，and shall have no damage，corrosion and deformation etc.on the surface.

4　The technical documents and special tools loaded with the equipment shall meet the requirements of the design document or the contract appendixes.

5　The equipment and elements shall have qualification documents and imported equipment shall have commercial inspection qualification documents.

5.2.5　After the equipment is unpacked，the equipment and the spare parts and special tools thereof shall be properly kept，have measures for preventing wind，rain and snow，and shall not be deformed，damaged and corroded.The mobilized equipment and elements shall be installed in time.

5.2.6　When conveying and lifting the equipment，the lifting point shall be on a mark position of the equipment or the packing box.Protection measures shall be taken while installing and lifting the equipment to prevent the equipment from damage.
