8.9　Commissioning of Vertical Detecting Device

8.9.1　The commissioning of the driving device without stock rod shall meet the following requirements:

1　The electric driving device shall run positively and negatively for at least 30min.

2　Each part shall be confirmed free of abnormal sound and vibration.

8.9.2　The commissioning of the driving device with stock rod shall meet the following requirements:

1　Before commissioning of the driving device with the stock rod，relevant organizations of specialty shall be noticed of stopping all operations in the blast furnace shell and the operators shall be evacuated.

2　"Zero"point location of the stock rod shall meet the requirements of the design document.When there is no requirement in the design document，the allowable deviation of"Zero"point location is±20.0mm.

3　The stroke limit of each stop position of the stoke rod shall be adjusted according to the design document.

4　The stock rod shall go back and forth between the standby position and the detecting depth at least 3 times，the confirmation action shall be flexible and be free of abnormal sound and vibration，and the action of the stroke limiting device shall be reliable.

5　When confirming that the stock rod is reduced to the limited detecting depth，at least 3 rings of steel wire rope on the coiling block of the winch shall be remained.
