2.0.1 Process steel structure
Shell, framework, truss, corridor, major diameter rolled and welded steel pipe in blast furnace construction projects as well as steel structural members affiliated to other metallurgical processing equipments.
2.0.2 Assemble
It's the process of turning the equipment parts or the steel plates or profile steel parts of the process steel structure into entire equipment, element or process steel structure unit by means of assembling, welding or other forms for mutually connecting and assembling.
2.0.3 Preassembly
Assembly of equipment and process steel structure parts before delivery in order to inspect whether they meet the installation quality requirements when they are delivered in the form of elements or by sections, blocks and sheets.
2.0.4 Grouping
Assembly conducted in an installation site for realizing lift of entire or units assembled(equipment or process steel structure parts)according to the member supply status provided by the plant.
2.0.5 Set up in turn
Method of installing shell members according to the installation drawing or according to a sequence of installing sections one by one from bottom to top or a sequence of sections assembled.
2.0.6 Reversal set up
Method of installing shell members in a sequence reversed to the installation drawing or according to a sequence of installing sections one by one from bottom to top or a sequence of sections assembled due to the restrictions of environment or machines and tools.
2.0.7 Leakage test
Under the designed pressure, using the gas as the medium, test that adopts foaming agent to check such leakage points as thewelding seam, flanges or threaded joints of equipment or elements as well as valves.
2.0.8 4 Core point
Quartering points clockwise set up in sequence along the 0°,90°,180° and 270° of a circle for a round shell element by taking the O° on the circle specified in the design document as an origin.
2.0.9 4 Core line
Line that mutually connects the 0°,180° and 90°,270° corresponding to the 4 core point.
2.0.10 Large-diameter coil-welded steel pipe
Steel pipes such as cold air pipes, hot air pipes, air pipes,dust-removing pipes, gas pipes as well asuptake ducts and downcomer that have larger diameter and are processed by rolling and welding steel plates.
2.0.11 Frame
Frame composed of four stand columns, beam and truss surrounding the shell below the blast furnace body top platform. The frame below the hot air ring pipe hanging platform is the lower frame. The frame above the hot air ring pipe hanging platform and below the furnace top platform is the upper frame.
2.0.12 Rigid frame
The frame of an"A"shape or other shapes used above the blast furnace body top platform and used for supporting each layer of platform for furnace top charging equipment is called rigid frame.
2.0.13 Ring(belt,loop)
A part of a shell element divided vertically along the central line plane of the shell in order to adapt to its shape and width of supplied steel plate and meet the requirements of manufacture, transportation and installation.
2.0.14 Section
Parts of such elements as column, beam, truss, corridor as well as cylinder and tank having smaller diameter divided according to length or height in order to meet the requirements of transportation and installation are called as sections.
2.0.15 Lift(grouping)in unit assembled
Multiple elements or multiple rings(belt, loop)of furnace shells are assembled into unit or entire part and lifted(grouped)in unit or entire part.
2.0.16 Special plan
A special plan refers to a safe technical measure document that is separately formulated for divisional and sub-divisional works having higher risks based on formulating the construction organization(overall)design.
2.0.17 Five way ball
The uptake duct, the downcomer and the bleeder of the blast furnace are collected to node which is designed in a ball structure, wherein the node is called a five way ball.
2.0.18 Design document
Drawing and other technical data issued by the design or manufacture organizations.
