Running the mongo shell

The mongo shell is an interactive tool for MongoDB and a good place to get familiar with MongoDB operations. Once MongoDB is installed and running, you can run the mongo shell on the command line. In the mongo shell, you can try commands to query and update data as well as perform administrative operations.
