vCloud Air solution

The VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for VMware vCloud Air extends vRealize Operations capabilities to vCloud Air, providing a consistent user experience across clouds. This solution collects metrics, change events, and resource topology information from vCloud Air and displays this information in prebuilt dashboards.

The solution provides the following features:

• Visibility of all the resources deployed on vCloud Air including vCloud Air Clouds, Virtual Data Centers, Virtual Machines, vApps, vApp Templates, Edge gateways, and gateway services such as firewalls, SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, load balancers, and so on.
• Search and drill down capability for obtaining the operations health of deployed vCloud Air resources.
• Exhaustive list of symptoms and alerts for the detection of misconfiguration, connectivity, and health problems. All alerts are consolidated in a VMware vRealize Operations alert interface.
• Extension of the core vRealize Operations health and risk analytics engine for the inclusion of vCloud Air object key performance and health indicators.
• Detailed capacity analysis for all the resources deployed in vCloud Air.
