Summary

By now, we shouldn't feel lost in the world of Max. We learned how to get help, we saw how basic patching works, and got to know the building blocks, the Max object, the message box, and some GUI elements. In the next chapter, we will start off by building patches that have more relation to praxis, and we will explore Max in depth by the use of patches that actually might be useful and are not only of theoretical interest.
