第13章 减字木兰花（1）

北河沿，春节，1952

春来缓缓，

南下雁群归去晚。

春在邻家，

小院墙头一树花。

春情渺渺，

断断续续河畔草。

春又无踪，

昨夜风沙枝上空。

作者大学一年级时住在北京城内北河沿北京大学宿舍，寒假在北京度过。这是作者在北京经历的第一个寒冬。

Spring comes slow,

Wild geese on their return journey reluctant to go.

Spring calls on next door,

A tree of fl owers beyond the yard's wall.

Spring becomes vague,

Grasses along the riverside drag.

Spring is no more,

Last night's sandy wind swept all that boughs bore.

Note:

When he was a freshman, the author lived in Peking University's dormitory in Beiheyan and spent his winter vacation in Beijing. It was the first winter he spent in Beijing.
