Abstract

The thinking tool system of effective communication has certain self-conscious understanding and elaboration, which are included in the logic family. Strictly speaking, this is not systematical logic, but it can be collectively referred to as logical thought. Logic and culture have a close interactive relationship, and different periods, different regions, different cultural groups form different national logical thoughts. Ancient Mongolian did not have the special knowledge of logic, namely logic. However, under the specific natural, historical and cultural background, the ancient Mongolian ancestors have their own unique ways to understand the world,to view problems,to express and demonstrate ideas and viewpoints. Therefore, this book will study reasoning mode, thinking mode and thinking characteristics of the ancient Mongolian as logical thought of the ancient Mongolian.

Through the study, this book comes to the following conclusion on the ancient Mongolian logical thought. First, although the ancient Mongolian did not leave a special book on the systematic study of logic, the Secret History of the Mongols and other historical documents contain rich logical thought. Second,in the law of thinking development,Mongolian ancestors experienced the process from pre-logic to logical thinking. The characteristics of pre-logical thinking are mainly reflected in the dominance of image thinking and the traces of original thinking to a certain extent. Tengger thinking, totem thinking, shaman thinking, myth thinking and other ways of thinking have original thinking traces to some degree. Third, the ancient Mongolians formed a relatively mature logical thought, which was embodied in the rich concept system, and they were able to skillfully use the Bi-xing(comparison and effective image)and intentionality thinking methods. Metaphorical reasoning was the dominant reasoning form, and dialectical thinking was relatively developed. Fourth,Hetuvidya is one of the important parts of logical thought of the ancient Mongolian.
