Chapter 3 Incidence of infectious diseases
In 2016,27 notifiable infectious diseases in classes A,B and C of 121,949 cases were identified in Beijing,showing an increment of 14,594 cases over the previous year.The top ten diseases by incidence were infectious diarrheas of other etiology,hand-foot-and-mouth disease,influenza,dysentery,tuberculosis,syphilis,viral hepatitis,scarlet fever,mumps,and gonorrhea,accounting for 97.9% of the total cases.Influenza ranked the third in 2016 from the seventh in 2015,with an increase of 16,840 cases.
The incidence of notifiable infectious diseases in 2016(including classes A,B and C)was 561.8/105,increased by 12.6% over the last year.Compared with 2015,the incidence of the classes A and B was 138.0/105,decreased by 8.5%;and the incidence of the class C was 423.9/105,increased by 21.8%.
