This is a small tool book for foreigners to learn Chinese， in order to help them better grasp the commonly-used expressions or sentence patterns in communication.

First, this dictionary collects about 2000 commonly-used phrases and sentence patterns， the vast majority of which are not found in general dictionary.It can tell the users the actual meaning and special meaning of these phrases or sentences， the speaker’s feelings， attitudes and tone， what commonly-used combinations， the limitations and requirements before or after words， environments, occasions and conditions of use， connotations and etc.It’s quite helpful for users to understand and master the use of these phrases and sentences.

Second， the dictionary uses an explanatory interpretation method， the words used to explain are mainly primary and intermediate， and the sentences used to explain are most commonly-used by learners in learning and life， and are easy to understand.The grammar section gives a phrase or sentence-style expression that helps learners remember it quickly; it also explains what the phrase or sentence pattern does in a sentence.There are also clear instructions on what are the requirements for the words before or after them， as well as for syllables， etc.
